Reviewed Entity Relationships#

Survey binds producer-provided alternatives and source evidence to existing review items, decisions and replayable events. It stores immutable, content addressed outcomes and explicit supersession ancestry. A split is a reviewed replacement of a prior mapping; abstention changes no earlier outcome. Bulk planning is bounded and pure; transactional persistence and authorization stay with the host. Confidence is descriptive and never an acceptance rule. Same-pair contradictory reviews suppress candidate links pending resolution; abstentions do not. Review assertions remain distinct from Surface admission and current-state semantics. Rejecting a split is not a rejection of the earlier merge. A clean split is not itself a conflict. A rejected or disputed split can supersede an earlier split; this does not automatically restore the earlier merge. A later review may accept a split again when its complete ancestry reaches an accepted mapping. A disputed or rejected mapping can likewise be replaced by a split if its ancestry contains that accepted mapping.

Surface owns identity admission and accumulation over time. Equivalent links are emitted only as review-backed candidate mappings with claims, evidence and review events, not as a declaration that a link is admitted at a knowledge cut. Domain relations and splits do not become equivalent links. Subject-type compatibility belongs to producer policy; the same explicit review requirement applies to every mapping, including cross-type mappings. Names and scores never automatically accept one. Survey preserves conflicts and cannot infer missing authority or completeness from a supplied history. Existing Surface admission gaps are tracked in surface#353 and #357.
